So my lfs has a few fw eating nudis. I have quite a bit of fw. Do these things climb rocks to find the worms also? They're $32ea and I would only get 1. Just wondering if they are worth the money or just keep on sucking them up during wc. On a side note, the worms don't seem to bother anything except me.

I have fw as well that don't seem to harm anything as of yet. I've been considering getting something to eat them but I bought some flat worm exit. I haven't used it yet tho cuz I'm scared lol.

I siphoned out over a hundred yesterday. It looks like I never did anything. Flat worm exit kinda scares me because of all them dying off.

They normally do a very good job. They do go all over were ever there is flatworms. What type of nudi is it?

That will clean everything. Better than treating the tank

This specialized eater will consume flatworms in the aquarium. It sucks up the flatworms using a tube-like proboscis and makes a great natural alternative for flatworm control. However, it must be provided with a steady diet of flatworms in order to thrive. In addition, it is sensitive to rapid changes in water conditions and does not have a long life expectancy. Because of this, only expert aquarists should attempt to maintain this species.

Fw exit seems to be the best option I've seen.
I've done a lot of research in the past few weeks n even exit isn't 100% going to get rid of them in ever case but is possible. The reason I say that is because it only takes a few to make through the nuke. The sooner you use exit the better since the population will only increase. If you have a carbon reactor then I would try the fw exit. I'm ordering one b4 I use the exit to soak up the toxins and imo wouldn't use it without a reactor. I got fw exit on eBay for 18 bucks.

Yes, I use a carbon reactor 24/7. I do get a little lazy from time to time changing it out. I would definitely stay on it after dosing that stuff.

Wile it may look like a really good option, i would say not. Those nudis are tough to keep alive, which could be a major problem and like it has been noted it will die once it runs out of fw. Honestly it will die before it runs out because it will get the numbers down to a point where it can not find enough to survive, then it will die and the fw will just come back.

FW exit don't have a effect on AEFW.
Nudi branch need a constant source of food, if they consumed all life AEFW you still have the eggs that will hatch after a week or so.
Removing your SPS and dipping them every 5 days in a double dose of Bayer for the next 8 weeks is your best bet.
Remember to remove all SPS out of the DT and also remove the encrusting's of the rocks.
Leave DT fallow of SPS for at least 8 week.
Add some leopard wrasses, yellow corris, Ruby red dragnets or a melanures wrasse.
In my frag tank where I have all SPS as of now I have a bunch of Springerie Damsels, yes they hate each other but they rooming my SPS and picking every worn they can find of there.
Last two times I dipped didn't see any dead AEFW so I think I'm winning the battle.
I'm just 4 weeks in and will finish my eight weeks QT/dip

The fw I have look like a brown flake. I don't believe that these are aefw. I dip everything in Bayer. I'm guessing I must have dipped something that had eggs on it.
