Yes i think your right s-t-r-e-t-c-h. tried removing yesterday.. unbelievable.. it shrinks flat right into the coral skeleton, amazing. I decided to dip. didn't drop off. didn't seem to affect it. Time to replace my carpet surfing 6 line. I was told they keep them under control.
