Nudi or slug?

i was scrubbing some frags in my frag tank tonight and saw this thing. I know it came from some new livestock I got. I acquired tons of rocks with soft corals on them. Mushrooms, zoas, GSP, and nems. I saw this, and under T5s it was like a neon green. I know what zoa and monti eat nudis look like, and this isn’t that. I’m not sure what it is. I removed it, but I’m still curious.

lucky it's a soft coral eating nudi, I know what i said doesn't make sense but hear me out. They don't eat that much soft coral and when they mature they are BEAUTIFUl. I would keep it honestly

I have spend roughly 2 weeks studying nudibranchs as i've been randomly fascinated by them. At the LFS I work at we have had many leather corals come in with Dermatobranchus that do just fine even when having polyps eaten off every day. I hope one day I'll be able to get a Chamberlains Nudibranch

Ok. Because most of the images that come up when I searched that species, did not look anything like that. Just saying.

I guess it's about what you like. I however would not sacrifice my corals for a beige colored nudi. If I could guarantee it grew into THAT, with the blue pinstripes, I might think about it. But it would not be a decision taken lightly. And that guarantee would have to be there.

@Maggie321 They are colored based on what they have eaten, We had one eat an Orange Yuma before and have it go from bland to colorful overnight. I understand what you're getting at... I don't have an obsession for corals so they don't matter as much to me. Currently at the store we sell them to people that have Zoa outbreaks (not the colorful ones, the ugly long brown ones) they are like those Aiptasia eating nudibranchs with just a more varied diet.

That makes perfect sense! It is pretty. But I like my corals. Lol. I understand the zoa outbreak though. They should be on an island like GSP is recommended to be.

Oh and keep in mind this is MY experience with them, It could just be the one species of Dermatobranchus that I have kept (just had to point that out so that ONE person doesn't come saying I have no evidence to back what I talk)

If memory serves me right its a Arminid Nudibranch, ,,remove him,,soft coral eater..wheres theres one theres more of them..dont wait til you get eggs,,then youll really have a problem,,they love clove polyp corals and other softies..
