So I found a couple of these guys in my lr holding tank, pretty sure they are some kind of nudi I am going to remove. Are there anyways to ensure they will not return without killing other organisms in the lr?

Weird. I tried to edit, but I guess I must have deleted a paragraph. Did you see in my prior post where I asked for you to pull it out and see if it unfolded to flesh or a shell?

Yes, they are reef safe. They are after macroalgae and typically die in our tanks, probably from starvation.

I read up on them and supposedly some of them use parts of the algae they eat by holding it inside of them and allowing the photosynthesis process to take place so they can live for long periods of time without algae. I hope they don't die, they are kinda neat. They didn't really appear until a lot of algae started growing. Thanks for the help!

Nevermind.... I found it..... sitting on my iPad, not sent.

The bottom pic is what made me think it was a Oxynoe, with that little black curvy line. A lot of times they aren't the color yours is, but that line is pretty tale tell. I would love to have some. If you have a lot of algae, then they will do better for you than a typical reef.
