This is at a semi local LFS
Labeled as Spanish dancer nudi & m&f emperor shrimp
Try as I might there isn’t much I can find online about care for either the shrimp or the Nudi

can anyone help out with general information & care requirements as I’d like to look into them before purchase
($280 AUD)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_dancer says eats sponges. However, it does NOT say what TYPE of sponge and that detail could be significant.
Defer to others for specifics, but likely your research shared nudibranches are specialized eaters, so mostly they starve in home aquariums. Seems like a lot of money to me just to watch nudibranch likely get smaller, smaller, die unless you can find out exactly what type of sponge they eat and feed it to nudi

This post seems to indicate emporer shrimp have a nudibranch relationship, but since nudibranches often die of starvation, post also suggests sea cucumbers:
Emperor shrimp are kept by some aquarists, but given that it is almost impossible to keep a nudibranch in a tank because of their diet, the larger specimens would certainly be deprived of their preferred host.

Thanks, I’ll see if the LFS has the nudibrach eating at all and what they’re feeding it
The shrimp I’m confident in being able to keep but would prefer obviously not to get them without their host

Ever find out what this Spanish dancer Nudi was being fed if it was eating at your LFS?
