So I saw a nudibranch on my zoa polyps and decided to dive in there with some tweezers, I plucked the thing with the tweezers and pulled him off my zoas, it fell off the tweezers and was airborne... I ducked down to get my turkey baster to suck him up and poof he was gone... I cut him up pretty good. I doubt he lived, should I be worried about his body or pieces of him still in my tank? Here's a pic of it ...

Also there's this clear sponge looking thing sticking out on it too, I tried to remove it but he seemed to be attached to the colony of zoas...

I'll keep a look out. The polyps are definitely doing much better with it gone. It honestly is too bad they're not good ... they look so cool!!! Colorful little things lol

I religiously check your hitchhiker guide! What can you tell me about digitate hydroids? They're swarming my tank and I don't know what to do. I THINK they may be hurting my zoas and recordia but I'm not sure... I've seen one on my recordias mouth and. It became dinner for him haha

They come out more at night. I stopped feeding my phyto to the water column hoping to starve them out. Only target feed mysis to my corals

I know some would probably treat, but it's not something I would jump on immediately. I've had them and after awhile they went away on their own. At one point when their numbers were climbing I was like "Hmmmmm", but they eventually receded. Just in case you want to treat now, I'll give a shout out to the #reefsquad to give you the run down on how to do it.

Continue to hold the phyto for now. They aren't being fed by it, but its supporting the population of zooplankton which they do eat.

Interesting. You got it, I figured if they don't have much food in the water Column they'll die out... I like to tackle problems without dosing or using any treatments in a bottle.. so I'm just waiting it out. I heard certain type of wrasse will eat it but not sure... soon as my ich cycle is done I'll probably get a wrasse in there
