Nudibranch? Good/Bad or Something Totally Different?

Just found this guy on the outside of my skimmer. He's from TBS Live Rock, so Gulf of Mexico.

About 1cm, translucent-ish, pale cream/tan with crazy spikes & antenna. WHAT IS THIS?!?

Sorry, not sure what side you want? he's clinging to the side of the skimmer, so from the side, it's a "top down" shot. You want to see his belly?

Oh I see. We're looking at its face.
It looks like the bottom of the animal.

sorry, yes, this is top -- head is on the right side. looks like big pair of antenna(?) & similar looking structures on his back as well.

Assuming it doesn't have its best colors on, we're kinda close I think.

I don't see any spots in yours , but the red in the taller appendages is there.

Google that name , and see if you get any hits with it.

Nope. That's a zoa eater. Super tiny. Zig zag Frills fully down the back with no separation in the middle.

Can I ask why? Is he predatory to something? Poisonous? Invasive?

The hard thing on nudis , we don't always know what they eat. Nor how they breed. I would get a cup and do some reading and see if you can get any info.
If it were a calurpa slug I'd say toss it in either and if you see more in either place it's a score
The last cool scary nudi I had , starved. Totally cool animal. But its the chance you take.
Most would toss it.

Salty had it right. It depends entirely on your risk tolerance and your ability to positively identify it. I have low risk tolerance when it comes to things that might destroy my reef. If I had a better skill level it’s positive 100% identification, I might change my mind. But I’m the kind of guy that won’t buy anything but reef safe fish ... “with caution” is too risky for me.

I was fortunate enough to have a second up and running reef with not much in it when I got my big nudi. So it was luck timing. And I got it buying coral for the tank.

I had just rescaped and unnmodded it from having a blubber jelly.

I'm a nut job. Yes.

Looks like a bergia n....if so, they eat aiptasia...

Kinda looks like a berghia. Look them up and see if it matches. Remember that they can be white or beige depending on if they'very eaten or not. They eat aptasia only and come out at night.

I haven't found any aiptasia in my tank yet (knock on wood), but I also couldn't find this guy in my sump when I got home from work that night. Not sure if he's disappeared before I could make him disappear.
