Just noticed this nudibranch along my glass. Tank is a few months old, likely came in on live rock (which I would assume is from great barrier Reef). May have also come in on corals which are all cultured or from GBR.

I've never seen one before. It is clear with grey/green spots - the tips along it are bright green under blues.

There's also this weird, green little flower thing growing on the macro algae off my live rock. I've also seen similar ones without the green (all white/clear) pop up before in the live rock but they died before they grew very much.

Thanks for help would really appreciate some info especially on what to do about this nudibranch/the others that are possibly in tank (I can't see any others though). IMG_20220103_170840.jpg

Anyone have any idea what I should do with this nudibranch haha? I've just got it in a little glass atm - I'm assuming I shouldn't put it back in. Is there a treatment I should use to try kill any others?

Update: did some googling and saw that there are zoanthid eating nudis, which looked similar to mine. One of my zoa colonies has been a bit irritated lately, so I took a closer look and found another of these guys camoflauged almost perfectly against the zoas. So what should I do to treat this? Hard to find good info online, I'd prefer to not have to remove all the frags as they're all glued to rockwork.

The only time I would ever want a nudibranch in my tank is if I deliberately put a specific species in. For the most part they eat coral. Toss.

I’ve got the same algae - did you come up with an ID in the end?
