Just found this guy in the tank. Tank is only a few months old and only has a few corals in it.
Is this likely a zoa eater? it was very near a small colony. If so and if there are others, would they be likely to mess with Protopalythoa grandis as well? I can dip the zoas, but the rock with my P. grandis has some other life that I would not like to kill.

Sure looks like an Aeolid Nudibranch. Zoa eater.

They tend to take on the look of the zoanthids they've been snacking on. Perfect camouflage.

Agree with others, it's a montipora eating nudibranch but this thread is a couple years old so it's probably not an issue at this time......

I'm new. I just trying to fix a problem with Nitrate over peak in my tank. I just want to be part and in the Nudibranch book it says different, but I don't the person this not something to get angry over. If you're right ok if I am but I don't want to make it a big deal. So I just let go. But I understand what you are saying. I can be right all the time. So next time I will just take there word. I really need to know what to use to scrub my LR it may be what's causing the high Nitrates. What can I use with out damage?
