Nudibranch ID

Can anyone positively ID this guy? He’s been crawling around my tank the last few days and I’m wondering what species he is and what he snacks on.

Looks like a berghia nudibranch but I'm no expert.

take it out for now and leave it in a cup until positive id, just in case it is the coral eating kind. I think it looks like berghia as well though

It could be a berghia, but he’s not nearly as white as they are. He’s more of a creamy brown color

Unless you purposely added berghia nudibranchs at some point it’s probably not one of those, it’s likely a zoa eating nudibranch that hitchhiked in.

Berghia absorb the color of the aiptasia when they eat, so they're not always pure white. The above isn't a Berghia though. The cerata are different.

I did add Berghia like 9 months ago but haven’t seen any in ages. That, and the fact that I have new aptasia popping up, leads to me believe this isn’t a berghia. Haven’t added any new montis in over a year so I’d be surprised to find a monti nudi that large. I don’t see any damage on my montis either….

Still 99% sure that's not a Berghia. I breed them and it does not look like the same animal:

It's not a berghia, the tuffs on the back are clumped on this nudi instead on seperated...also not a monti eating nudi their tuffs are slim and few....those are the only two species I have experience with so maybe someone else can chime in with a possible id

I just ordered a berghia nudibranch to put in my QT from TSA. It looked very similar....Got some LR from gulf last year and there is aiptasia species (not the overly invasive type) to see if it would eat them. So far I haven’t seen activity.
