Just caught this critter. Saw one earlier this week. Keep him out or put him back?

Been out of Reefing for 23 years and just getting back in and relearning

Thanks for input

Interesting enough. Two nudibranches in the same day. Both clearly different species.

This ones tail is more like a Berghia but much darker colors.

Wonder where I picked these guys up LoL.

Where there is two there are likely more. Both of these moved to QT pending further identification for now :-)

zoa eating nudi, sad to say if there is one this big ,check for others and egg casings

Thanks,

Found one more Nudibranch, like the one pictured in the first pic on a Zoa and another what "might" be a smaller Nudibranch or flat wormish on the same. I don't find any eggs, etc. but where there are now three + a ? one there are likely more. The one I saw earlier in the week was on the rock work vs. Zoa's so I'll have to keep a keen watch out for more.

Gave the one Zoa a bath in Peroxide and then Revive.

Thanks again

how big is your tank ?
how high in the tank is your rock work?
do you have sand of bare bottom tank ?

112 gallon display. 143 gallons total.

Sand bed is about 1” deep. Rockwork structures go up to ~12” high. The Zoas I have are currently on 4-5 small pieces of macro shelf rock on the sand bed so I can get to them fairly easily to inspect etc. as the tank is relatively new they have not established the rocks (that and I want them on islands anyway)
