Found this scouting around today. Any ideas on type?

Yea it was a nudi. Not a flatworm. Tuft of gills in the back is a dead giveaway.
That’s definitely a nudi. Odd, they don’t seem to be common hitchhikers as they won’t hide in rocks (unless the rock was huge and couldn’t be noticed). And it looks too big to have recently hatched. Should’ve kept it. They’re nice guys.

Rock just came in yesterday so surprised to see him myself. A little late to keep him but lesson for next time I suppose.
They are hard to keep, have a strict diet (depending on type) and also have a short lifespan as it is. But I love them. My son’s favorite thing to watch in the tank.

Apologies for the wrong ID, from the pic all I could see led me to believe a possible polyclad. Sometimes we don't get them right.

Nope that is a Doris odhneri nudibranch. they are hard to find because they are transparent until it get to the back and it a light white. So that's what it is. Nice

Where did the rock come from? Just curious cause I thought Doris odheri just lived in colder waters like Northern California

I raise these. There are major problems by owning. You have a a wave Maker they will ripped. They are very delicate but also beautiful sea creatures

Would love to see how you raise them - not that I’d ever keep a nudibranch but one of my favorite animals.

It's moving. They can't handle cold water. If you look next to the Rock it's on looks like a type sponge or soft Coral. Why it's that color is because it has predators so it can blend in with the Rocks.

Not hard to do. Basically you raise them in something like you would with frags. They are good cleaners. People not on here say BS. I would not tell you what that was if I didn't raise, well really not raise they are more free to roam but a screen top is best if you do frags.

Do you have a Frag tank? They will breed with other Nudibranches. I have not tried, but they to commonly mate with different Nudibranches.
