Ok can mods delete my old postsincei messed up the title. sorry mods. So I dipped my zoas in freshwater last night. Only had them in water for a min because I was nervous on max amount of time the zoa are allowed in the freshwater. So what is the max time? Any tips to get rid of zoa eating Nudibranches? I went to buy coral rx from lfs but they were close. How much time do I have before they eat the polyps ):

The thing is with nudibrach they tend to lay eggs, so even if you fresh water dip you wont get the eggs! I put my zoas in fresh rodi water for up to 10 minutes and spray them with a turkey baster all over. Then I drip them for 30 minutes and then i add in coral disinfectant for about 5 to 10 minutes and spray them with turkey baster once again. They i have a 3rd bucket to rinse them off in tank water and let them sit for about 10 minutes before i sent them in the tank. You really need to keep an eye on them for the next few weeks, when your lights go out wait about 30 minutes and take a flash light to see if there are any crawling around. If you see any take your turkey baster and suck them up and re dip corals over the next few weeks until you do not see any!
