Hey guys and gals,
So I have one red cap mionti inmy tank, no other montis. It's been in there for about a month and a half-ish. It's been growing, about 2 inches now. So I noticed the white on the edges looked different and is fuzzy. In addition there are now these white spikey looking critters, especially on the underside. A few searches revealed they are nudis.
So my question is should I bother going through the work to save it, or just toss it? It was a $10 frag. It's the only one in the tank. Follow up question, will that rid the tank of the critters or will they live in the rocks until another.monti goes in itand will they hurt other coral?

THANKS!!

4.7 ".... yellow coris wrasse....and mine hides in the rocks since i also have cc substrate . You could use a dish with finer sand in it and see if he uses it but mine did not.
