Is this a nudibranch? I noticed little spiral egg clusters in my refugium and dove deeper to find this guy in the picture. Looks like a slug. Is it harmful?

mful???

Take a picture without the purple lights. Something white would be much better. Reason being to see if it's going to be harmful we need to see colors of this nudi. Could be bad, could just be an algae eater. In a sump system, or based on the lights refugium, I wouldn't worry a bunch. If it turns out to be green color, even better. Means it eats chlorophyll from algae and hopefully not from corals.

Nice picture! I see lots of green in there so that, to me, says it is sucking the chlorphyll out of algae. I wouldn't worry, just be keeping an eye on the display tank if they make their way up at all. In my refugium though, I would leave them personally.

Nudibranch = naked branches = exposed frilly gills ….. I see none in your pictures. I'm not a snail expert but it looks like a stomatella to me.

Actually I think your right after a google search. Thanks
