Nuisance algae..help!

hey r2r community,
Anyone dealing with this green grass type of algae? Is this bryopsis..it doesn't look like it though. I've been manually removing and spending an hour during biweekly water changes its driving me crazy

Any solutions would be great,

Looks like gha. are you feeding too much? ensure you water is 0 tds. Vacuum sand and sump if you haven't done so. are you getting detectable no3 and po4?
 
I am feeding quite a bit. I added new fish and introduced a new population of ich. Attempting a full display QT so getting them plump before medication. I think when the tank goes fallow for 2.5 months it should all disappear?

I rarely test po4 and no3 I will do that just thought that if this is bryopsis itll b terrible to fight against - thanks for reminding me to go back to basics :)
