Hi all, I have had a slow growth of green algae across my live rock, any ideas to what it is and if any fish/ cleanup crew would eat it? I currently have a peppermint shrimp, cleaner shrimp, lawnmower blenny and a few turbo snails. Water levels are stable with no recent fluctuations. Thanks in advance!

You will want to find out why that popped up in your tank, most likely a high nutrient issue. Siphoning is a good idea but it will come back until you figure out the source of the problem.

It was present on the live rock when i received it from a running tank in a small quantity, I didn't remove it which i wish i now had. I do weekly water changes 10% and change filter floss, running a phosphate and carbon filter with a skimmer, no sump.

What are your nitrates and phosphates?
