Nuisance algae still!!

My crushed coral has turned a dirty color and now has like a layer of hairy algae on top? What's the problem..

High nutrients, probably phosphate and nitrate. Are you doing water changes, do you have enough flow there, have you tested you water?
 
How old is the tank and how frequent are your water changes? I used to get that when my nitrates were too high. I did not get that stuff when my phosphate was high, so if it were me, I would concentrate on excess nitrates as the culprit.
 
Tank is 3 months. The part pictured is the worst and probably least flow area.
 
Increase the flow into that area and do a water change.
 
And make sure you're not over feeding. Nutrients are coming from somewhere. Water changes won't solve a thing if you're constantly introducing excessive nutrients into the system. o_O
