I have a 55 gallon tank, and have a HOB refugium to help with nitrates. At some point tiny translucent snails showed up in my tank. Not sure where they came from, and I had them before I had any other snail that I placed in myself. My issue they will completely take over my refugium. At one point I had to completely dismantle it and clean it out because it was full of them. Now I'm checking daily and removing any that I catch but it's difficult since the refugium is a little cramped.

Anyone have this issue, and advice on how to handle them? I don't notice them much in my DT, and only catch them at night when the lights are off.

Any chance you can get a pic? Sounds like a stomatella snail which aren't a bad thing to have.

I will have to try and get a pic, but that looks like them. I don't mind them in the DT, but I had about 40-50 of them in the refugium. I was worried what effect that would have because the walls were completely covered in balls of slime (not sure how else to describe it).
