As the title states.....
SO I tried using Joe's juice, Aptasia X in the overflow where these buggers are hiding. They don't show their faces in the tank because my peppermint shrimp mow them down. Now faced with larger ones since I tried the said juices.
So whats my next option? I so wanted to shut down, drain the OF a bit then add a bleach mixture but held back because I didn't want seepage into main display if silicone is weak.

Oh yes they multiply when ticked off....

I never cared about any in the overflow. They're actually great filter feeders.
You could put a single peppermint shrimp in the overflow. I found them in mine in the past. They migrated there and just set up shop. Now I don't have any apt Asia in the overflow.

If the shrimp are keeping the visible parts of your tank clear, I see no reason to worry about the areas you cannot see. One section of my sump is so overrun with them that I refer to it as an aptasia-scrubber. Pyramid butterflies eat them in the display (along with majanos).

great ideas. I dont own a wand. I just wonder if a pep shrimp or 2 in there would eat the big ones. Maybe a shut it down, scrap them off everything and boil like a lobster. well I don't want to shock the glass with too hot of water
