Currently my alkalinity solution is 47.2 g/l sodium carbonate + sodium silicate + traces which is supposed to give +1 dKh for each 40ml added to 100l of water.

I looked at the 2nd diy with higher ph but it just says that it has the same strength as the older recipe and that one doesn't give a g/l or equivalent for sodium carbonate either, just how much bicarbonate to bake.

So by calculating through a whole bunch of ratios and inaccuracies of various calculators i arrived at 36.5 g/l of sodium hydroxide to get the strength of +1 dKH for 40ml/100l

Is that correct?
