I've had my tank for almost 2.5 months or so...

I used regular tapwater for the initial fill, AND for my 10% water change a few weeks ago
Yeah I know I need the RODI water- and I am getting it soon....
BUT

Do these numbers look right? (besides the calcium)
Cal - 660 ( High, I know)
Mag - 1400
Dkh 9.8
PH- 8.2 ish
Salinity - 1.025
0 ammonia, nitrite, nitrate

I am having a hard time w/ the new tank uglies... and my snails and crabs are taking their time on the glass, but thats another conversation

Numbers look fairly normal. I'm assuing you're using a salt like Red Sea coral pro, which has higher numbers in the Alk, Cal, Mag area. Your uglies are probably being elevated from the use of tap water vs. RO/DI. I would keep tabs on your Phosphate levels as well.

I am still dealing with the uglies too, my tank is over 90 days old and was started with RODI. I would say tap water may be part of your problem, or may make the blooms more severe.
