Test Alk weekly and dose only if needed. Test the other big 2 monthly. If consumption is low then water changes will take care off all that is needed.1) what should I be testing for regularly in my reef tank? 2)
What do you have in your reef tank? What type of corals? How long has it been set up? For me I test more frequently early on and then may feel comfortable with less testing. I test for nitrate and phosphate early on more regularly than later. I peronally would advocate for more frequent testing of alk and ca, maybe daily, but again depends on what you have and what you are doing with your tank.Hello I had two questions. 1) what should I be testing for regularly in my reef tank? 2) If I have corals should I be supplementing the water with anything special to help them thrive?
