Couldn't tell you why it's not getting bigger, which is why I believe it's a short tail which supposedly max length is under 36".

All I can say is it eats like a pig which keeps my bioload too high.

Yeah - That is an Arabian Bamboo (Chiloscyllium arabicum). They max out at about 30-31inches.

I know this is an old post but I must say this is a Gray bamboo shark (Chilloscyllium griseum) I´m 100% positive on this. Arabian bamboo does not have any bands on any stage of its life, plus it has the two dorsals more separated from each other. Cheers.

I know this is an old post but I must say this is a Gray bamboo shark (Chilloscyllium griseum) I´m 100% positive on this. Arabian bamboo does not have any bands on any stage of its life, plus it has the two dorsals more separated from each other. Cheers.
