I'm debating stopping the bi weekly manual water changes and keeping the awc going. Currently I've been doing both. However I've skipped the last two and relied on AWC. Here are tank details..WB 130.4 Mixed Reef. 60/40 lps/sps
Po4: 0.10
No3: 9.1
I do a awc of 1 gallon a day via apex dos. Given my nutrient control has balanced out and has been pretty stable, ( skimmer, small fuge with chateo, 2 bags of chemipure elite )
Are these changes enough for now. Or should I still do a 10gal wc every other week. And maybe change the dos to drip liquid soda ash to stableize alk even more. I've also noticed that my calc doesn't move much and is pretty much always around 550. I currently manually dose 10 to 15ml BRS liquid soda ash everyday to maintain alk. Perhaps this is keeping calcium elevated? Or the awc?
