Just wondering on what's the fastest nitrate removal. Carbon dosing, bio pellet reactor or other ways besides water changes. I'm currently trying to bring nitrates down just a tad bit more without the bigger water changes on the weekly basis. How long does it take for these methods to work.

What are your phosphates. You may be phosphate limited instead of carbon. Raise you Po4 slightly and the nitrate will come down with it as well

Your Fine. Maybe up your skimming a little and very minor carbon dosing. I would not drop much under where you are as Dino’s love it. I would kill for your numbers. I can not raise my Po4 to save my life and have been dosing Po4 and silicate. Wanna trade?
I sumped GFO in a sock no reactor and my po4 is very stable. I want to be at about 7 with no3 so by the end of the week I'll be at about 15 if anything.
