Hello I have a 10 gallon nano tank and I was wondering if there was a certain "spot" in the tank to keep the water line at. Im not sure if that makes sense or not but like in the back how much water should be back there lmk if I need to clarify anything else or if pictures will help.

The pump chamber should be lower than the others while it is running, but high enough the pump won’t draw air.

ideally you’d have an ATO in that chamber to keep that height consistent, but manually topping off to the same level could work too.

Yup, as long as you get a stair-like level in the back, your water level is correct.
