Nuvo 10

Hi - I bought a Nuvo 10 as a grow out for frags from my main reef tank. I bought the Tunze 9001 thinking it would fit, but it doesn't. Any suggestions for skimmers for this tank? Don't want to make the same mistake again and can't just do water changes, as I travel too much.

There are reef glass skimmers on marinedepot which is what I use, takes a little extra time to fine tune but they work just fine on nanos. Another is a Coralbox S150 on reefbreeders which should fit into the rear chambers of the nuvo also.

The 9001 fits if you pop the Magnet mount off of the front and epoxy it to the side of the unit. You can google search the modification. I did this with mine and it is then one of the better skimmers available for this tank...

It's a great skimmer if you can make it fit and you have ATO.

Apologies for the delay, world has gone upside down. Pulling out skimmate great and tank has never looked better. Am sure regular water changes do the trick, but to me, a skimmer is absolutely essential to keep saltwater. Attached is a current pic (glass needs cleaned).
