Nuvo 16

Alright, so to start this out, I purchased a Nuvo 16 as a QT tank for now. However I know it will eventually become a full blown reef tank. Put some dry rock in it and live sand.

That will make a good nano. I like the stand. What size is the tank to the left?

The tank to the left is the nuvo 16 and the tank on the right is a 95 gallon.

What do u plan on trying to keep in the Nuvo with the stock lights?

Well I'm gonna get a wrasse (which will be in QT until he clears and is good to go into the big tank. But sooner or later I will be ordering a kessil A150w to hang above the nuvo so I can start coral off in this tank before transferring to my DT

Sounds good. Those lights are worthless lol. I run a vega over my sons Nuvo 16.

Lol, I use the lights from my Old Nuvo 16 as fuge lights. Looking good Inked!

Im finally starting my nano build. I have had a Mr Aqua 12G Long sitting around forever. Might wait for the Nano in 90 competition tho.

Yeah right now mine just has water and live sand. So I could still do the nano in 90. However I need to read the rules cause I don't know the rules.

They said it's the same rules as last year and it's starts on July 1st. But I was going to tap my nano into my frag tank and unfortunately that's not. So nano build thread here I come

Awesome setup with both those tanks! The Kessil will be a good addition. I got a 350W as overkill for my Nuvo 16 and it is the best decision i've made in a while. Kessil's are worth the money.

Yeah I am loving the Kessils! I have two A360w's above my 90 and had to keep with the kessils on this one. The sky blue 150 is kickin butt and already showing me rapid growth rate out of the zoas I have in there. I was gonna do the nano in 90 build. But I got impatient and just decided not to.
