Curious as to what others with this small filter chamber run. (I have a nano 20 peninsula)

In the first chamber I used to run the CustomCaddy with filter floss, Bio-filter media balls, a small amount of GFO and Chemipure blue. However I recently bought the drop in UV sterilizer to help with a small amount of day time dinos I've been troubled by (I upped the GFO and took out too much phosphate :(), and run this with my old filter floss.

In the second chamber I run a ESHOPPS Nano Skimmer.

My back chamber I am not so happy about, I have my heater tucked in next to my return, ATO sensor at the top, and now I dropped the two packets of Chemipure on top of the return since I have no room. All in all it's very cramped.

What do you all run back there? Curious to find out.

Following along for this one ... I also have a IM20 Penisula that’s been set-up just over a month. Tank transfer with some established media.

I currently run the media basket in the first chamber with filter floss, chemipure elite, small bio media gems.
The second chamber I have a few mangroves in but, planning to run Chaeto once I get the light set up. Using some strips to mount to the rear of the tank and cutting the vinyl off the middle chamber.
The third chamber is return, heater, ATO.

Edit: I also want to mention I am doing 30-60% water changes weekly now plan to be 25% biweekly once tanks is more established.

I have a regular Nuvo 20 and run the following:
1) filter floss, chemipure, media balls
2) Cheato
3) Return= heater, return pump, probes, ato
4) DC skimmer
5) filter floss, carbon, media balls

Seems we all are running very similar setups, the normal 20 has two overflows, correct? Only thing I regret about the peninsula is the greater restraint on filtration, I might start needing to run the chemipure next to my skimmer.

Some more background on my tank though, it’s been cycled for 9 months now, and it’s been fairly smooth running. Only problems is I have a fairly large bio load and even with good pumps I still end up with a lot of detritus buildup in the sand. I’ve had one cyano outbreak, and this most recent Dino outbreak, but besides that no green algae. (My CUC is lacking but I can’t find Nassarius snails or a conch anywhere ATM)

I also do weekly 25% water changes, I think these are starting to become overkill for phosphate/nitrate export, but I need to export this detritus somehow.

Yes, the regular 20 has 2 over flow and 2 return. I would add a few more snails to move sand. I have 3 Cerith and 2 Nassarius, 1 Mexican turbo, 2 Stomatella and would like a few more. I been feeding heavy in order to bring the nutrients up. I had 2 Nerite but they both die.

Yeah I want to get some more snails but I live in Michigan and my LFS is a bit of a hike. I also keep forgetting to call and see if they have any, everyone online seems to be out with what’s going on right now though.

I did just finish a 3 day blackout with running UV and wow, all the Dino’s on the rocks are gone and there is just a small piece in the sand now. Before it was bothering all of my corals, even the bigger frog spawn/euphyllia which has been healthy since day one.
