Nuvo 20 and IM UV Sterilizer

Must this be run in the first chamber only? Or can it be placed in the second chamber? Reason being I want to run 2 media baskets on each side...

I just put mine in the first chamber and take out 1 of the baskets. I only run it for a week or 2 then the basket go back in.

Ok, so you don’t run the light 24/7. Didn’t know the real true working benefit of the UV Sterilizer. I know what it does and what it kills, I’m not saying it doesn’t work. Just want to make sure it’s not a waste letting it sit in my first chamber 24/7

Mine sits in the first chamber of my jbj 45 and runs 24/7

Make sure to put the little o ring around the bulb when you put it in the housing.
