Nuvo 20 gallon Intank media question.

Im new to saltwater i have the 20gallon nuvo,so far i have watchman goby with the pistol shrimp,cleaner shrimp and some 5 snails. I replaced the baskets,to the Intank ones. Im using intank poly floss filter,is it normal to be changing it every other day? Is there something better that can last longer?

I swap every 3 days or so, used to swap weekly but that was too long. I bought the 600 square inches and cut to size and keep a good amount in a ziplock for easy swaps.

I have a nuvo 24 and I use a handful of poli-fil inside my media basket, I change it biweekly... sometimes every 3 weeks and I never had problems.
