Nuvo 20 owners.. quick question

hi guys

where do you guys place your heater in the IM Nuvo 20 .

i placed my Cobalt Aquatics 31003 Neo-Therm Heater 75Watt
in the second compartment

But it does not seem to to keep the temp stable.

any thoughts?

Is the heater completely submerged? I had mine in the second chamber and it wouldn't regulate until I had it completely submerged in the third. I actually thought I had a faulty heater and submerged it in my tank where could watch it turn off and on and observe the temp. As long as mine was completely submerged it held it steady.

Mine is in the back left part of the tank near the overflow. It would not hold temps in the back compartments for me. I even upgraded wattage too.

I have a 75w NeoTherm in chamber 2, connected to an Inkbird Itc-308. Solid temps between 77.2F-78F.

I have a 75w neotherm in chamber 3 with my ato and return pump. Temp sensor is in chamber 1 and my temps read a constant 78.3 F

Currently, no. I know it's bad practice, but I'm saving up for an apex. An ink bird will work just fine too but I am finding that space is quite limited in the rear sump as real estate is being taken up by the ATO sensor and top off fill line, light mount, skimmer, reactor, digital thermometer probe and dosing lines.
