NUVO 20 Reboot - SPS Dominant

Really nice setup - that Blasto looks really happy! Wish I could get mine to puff up like that lol

I thought it was under my badge, but just in case here it is....lol don't laugh too much it's nothing like yours....

Pretty sure I have some kind of trace element deficiency. Still trying to figure out what it is. I probably should do an ICP test lol

Thanks schreiba! I keep a clownfish, cleaner goby, and springeri damsel. I’d like to add a tail spot Benny but haven’t seen one in months. The bio load is way too little from these guys so I dump all sorts of food into the tank

Nice! Tail spot blennies do seem to have a ton of personality.

What are you feeding? I’m having to add reef roids to my tank given I only have 1 orchid dottyback in a 17g to try and keep the phosphates off of zero.

I feed the fish flake food and mysis. Corals get phyto, reef energy ab+ daily, and reef roids occasionally. I also picked up some zeovit zeobak, sponge power, flatworm stop, and coral vitalizer that I started today. I’m not sure if any of them do anything but the tank seems happy so I’m sticking with it lol

Took a little over a month but the brown pearlberry is starting to pick up green polyps and some contrast in the body.

Updated FTS after changing the scape a little. Moved the arch all the way to back to give the tank some more depth. Corals are doing great!

Walt Disney coming along, almost fully encrusting the plug.

Small update...switching over to a G5 XR30 dramatically improved coverage of the tank. Also picked up some new goodies locally.

Night time shots!

Thanks friend! It definitely packs a punch. Very happy with the light so far!

Had a water change mishap (3 rtn’d down to a few polyps but has started recovering). Everything is still chugging along!

Wondering why my nitrates dropped to zero...looks like all the nutrients went into this algae I just pulled out lol

The algae battle continues! Spent a couple hours scraping and pulling out every last bit of algae. Began dosing vibrant and picked up an icecap skimmer
