So while flipping through facebook market place tonight on the prowl for a skimmer I came across a listing for a Nuvo 25 and Nuvo 40.
The Nuvo 40 comes with a Tunze 9004 skimmer
The Nuvo 25 comes with a innovative marine skimmer
prices are 250.00 each setup. They both come with stands, not a IM stand.
I would most likely have a stand made that would house them side by side if I bought both. The 25 would be a SPS (colored twigs) reef and the 40 the wife would have Softy/Anemone tank.
So should I go with just one and focus on it or go all out and get both and work on both at the same time, but taking it slower than planned since I would doing two money pits, not just one.
I'm so undecided. Part of me says build on one and go with the 40. The other part of me says go with both, as them being side by side on one stand would look great showing two very different tank styles.
Then another part of me says go old school and go with a 40 breeder and throw on a couple of hob filters and a hob skimmer and act like it's 2000 again and show that you can still build a outstanding reef tank on a shoe string budget that everyone can do.
thoughts?
