Nuvo 40 lighting

I currently have a Nuvo 40 mixed reef with two AI primes under AB+ setup running for 12 hours. I've read that the Primes are ok with the 40 with LPS and below. My concern is the obvious shadowing in the tank. I recently upgraded from a Nuvo 20 almost two weeks ago. I really want to get the Orphek lights but, I think that it would be an overkill.
I have two options:
1 Sell one Prime and replace it with a Hyra 26.
Has anyone ran AI prime and Hydras together?
2 Keep both Primes and purchase a Reefbrite LED strip

You could get an Orphek strip light. I have 3 of them, very affordable and really nice. They also come in different spectrums. I believe the the one you should look at is the OR-60. It is 24" long, available in UV, Reef Daylight or Sky Blue spectrum. I believe the new model is available also. I think the first gen go for around $120.00. Just go to there website and check them out. Customer service is top notch.

Also maybe take a look at the aquatic life 24" t5 hybrid.

It would solve shadowing and fill in some spectrum for those acro's you have.

I'll check it out. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't even realized Orphek had the strips. I was originally thinking about the Atlantik compact.

I was originally planning on going to that route. How much increase in par would the T5's provide? Reason being for my suggestion for the hydra is to provide sufficient par on the SPS side while leaving my LPS island the way it is. I could still go this route and just provide some covering for my lobo so it won't get blasted.

@jda @saltyfilmfolks might have a better idea of how much par 4 extra bulbs would put out.
