Nuvo 40- pump upgrade

Hello,

I am planning to upgrade the stock pump which is 476 gph. I do not know the diameter of the tube of the stock pump. I mainly keep LPS and few peaceful fish.

Would this work-740 gph OR any recommendations out there?

Since there are two return lines that connect to a splitter and it's pumping up water and then through an elbow you should be fine. If your looking for something that's quiet and has a good reputation then I recommend the sicce pumps.

The stock pump is quite it just needs a little power.
My concern is that when I upgrade that the diameter of tube might be a little bigger than the stock pump.

They should say what type of fitting. Usually it's 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch on smaller pumps.
