Well, I lost all of the fish in my 40 gallon nuvo tank to Brooklynella. I’m now starting the research phase for my next fish. I know I won’t be able to add anything to the display tank for at least 8 weeks, but I would like to start quarantining fish in a month or so. I have a mixed reef tank, so any fish should be reef safe. I would like to stay away from clownfish and dwarf angels. Are there any species of wrasse or anthias that could work in this tank? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Possum or Pink Streaked Wrasse would work for sure. Unfortunately that 2 foot length is really limiting, otherwise I might recommend a Lubbock's Wrasse. Basslets (ie Royal Gramma, Black Cap) might be an option, Clown Goby if you want something somewhat similar to a clown but with different coloration.
