So I am noticing the difference between my stock screen being on or off. Wondering what everyone is doing out there? I'm afraid to leave off for jumpers but at same time it looks really nice without.

I use the Bulk Reef Supply diy screen lid. No light blockage. I have all sps and are doing great.

i leave mine on at night when the room is dark and off when the lights are on. the fish i keep are not known to be jumpers so that helps. i know all can jump but some are less likely than others. i chose these fish because of that reason.

Agree! I used to ran Kessil 360W and I felt all the light were not going through my tank since the screen material are thick.

I just changed out the original material to the basic plastic screen material

Where do you get it and how did you Change it ?

I got it from a friend who had a piece left over. You just pull the rubber out and cut to fit then just push the rubber back in place.
