Mines in my bedroom. It's not too bad!I plugged mine in to see what it looks like, and it is extremely bright. I wonder if it is a wise choice to put the tank in my room. Lol

Looks good!
Thanks! I just got it today. I've had red in the past, but really like the blue.Great looking tank. Wish I could find that blue sponge for my tank.

Definitely need a bigger tank! Just broke down my 8 and moved everything over 5 months ago. Filled it up a little fast! It's a fantastic photosynthetic sponge. It does well with some fine particulate mater in the water column, stirring up detritus or marine snow (which is not a product I particularly like) and intense lighting worked for me.
I also really like the frags of montipora growing in front of the feather duster, looks really nice.
I think you're going to need a bigger tank though LOL.
I love the footprint of the 20. It's been a fun tank!Tank looks great!! I will probably be upgrading to the 20 from my 10 at some point in the future.
Thanks! I upgraded the pump to an mj900 and it's great. Works well with the mp10. The mj1200 would have been a little much for my LPS.Just binged read this thread. Awesome nuvo, i just got the same one about 2 months ago and got everything transferred from a breakdown. Can wait to start stocking it more!
Did you upgrade the stock pump at all when you started or just waiting till you got the mp10? also love how simple your maintenance and filtration is

I always told myself I'd never spend that much on powerhead. Now I wish I would have gotten it sooner! So you would recommend the 220-250gph flow rate? I know the stock pump is rated 211gph I was thinking about upgrading to a ecoplus 264 (rated 290gph) since I don't see myself affording an mp10 anytime soon haha
