I’m in the process of cycling and I wanted to plug my skimmer in to break it in, as I’ve read they have a break in period. There are no fish yet, and this is what the skimmer is doing. Foaming all out of the top. It’s only been plugged in and running for 10 minutes, but I would like to know if this is normal or if I have it set wrong?

Maybe I’m going to answer my own question I dunno. I adjusted the o-ring to almost the bottom of the cup and now the bubbles are getting close but not overflowing into the main cup. Staying in the cylinder. Is that correct or should they be flowing into the big cup?
