NUVO20 Protein Skimmer Recommendations

Hey all,

Today my IceCap Nano skimmer pump died so I am looking for a replacement. I’m looking for something to fit in the back of the NUVO and looking for options. Any recommendations appreciated. I’ve heard mixed results on the Nuvoskim but seems like options for a nuvo20 chamber are somewhat limited.

I have the Icecap K1 nano and it’s been a champ. The other skimmer I would consider is the Cadlights PLS50 Elite II though I think it will need adjustments to fit.


Or go Aquamaxx HOB 1.5 if you have the room.
