Nuvo38 pump placement help

currently running a sicce 2.0 return pump and
1-MP10wQd

The stock return pump was 470gph the sicce is 568 or somewhere around there

I have the MP10 set on reefcrest maxing out at 75% i have it placed towards the front and up high maybe 6-7”below the water level. I know there is not for sure placement but does this seem right?

What you have seems perfectly good to me.

I have a 40g cube with similar flow. My return flow is probably a bit higher but that's not a big deal. The one thing I think you might consider is getting 1 or 2 small wavemakers and placing them toward the back of the tank and maybe down lower and pointed slightly up. This would just be to add some flow in and around the back side of the tank and the rockscape. And in my opinion, the more random you can make the flow in the tank, the better the system works. I used 2 Current eFlux wavemaker pumps at the back of my tank and you hardly even notice they are there.

Thanks! I was thinking of picking up another mp10 of the opposite side down low I’m kibda picky with that type of stuff and having matching equipment lol my first tank years ago I had 3 different wave makers and mix matched pieces and it drove me crazy since I have the Radion and. MP10 with the ReefLink adding another is probly what I would do just an expensive piece to add lol
