Hi all.. I just bought one of these and have a dumb question. I have used a cskim for the past year on my 650. Could never get it going right.. I think I really don't know what I'm doing.. anyhow got this installed.. water level is at 21cm that they recommend. I used the water level adjustment and have the water interface right where the cup attaches.. should the air valve be fully open?? I really don't know exactly what I'm doing. Thanks

Close the air valve all of the way and then open it about 1-1/2 turns. This is where I have found my 160 to work really well, with the water bubble level at the same as yours... right at the bottom of the cup. Note: the air valve turns really easy and I have noticed that it accidentally gets turned during routine maintenance... even when I am conscious of it and careful around it. So I simply turned it to where I wanted it and made a mark with a Sharpie. That way I have a quick visual, when I open the stand, that it's still where I want it.

Try rapping some Teflon tape around it, it should stiffen it up if not add more tape.
