Hello guys

so my tank is Running since 2 days now and I wanted to turn in the skimmer . I opened the air intake and everything it says. Now in the moment I plug it in it overflows . Now I Heard- I just should leave it like that take the cup off and adjust when it’s ready . My problem is it’s running since 1day now and when I put the cup on it’s still overflowing I don’t really know what to do or when it’s „ready“ to adjust and I can put the cup back on

You could try turning the air screw shut and then slowly opening it a little at a time to see if that helps, or do that and leave it for a few more days to see if it settles.

Skimmers can be very sensitive to things in the water, something as simple as a new unwashed filter sock makes mine freak out.
