Hey reefers I got the g2 Nyos reactor 2.0 I know carbon is not supposed to tumble. Is there away to compact it in the reactor? Like do the sell sponge’s separately for carbon?

200 gallons
Even 1000ml of carbon is a lot for that size tank, so I'd be inclined to get a 1.0L body and run 500ml carbon/500ml GFO or a 0.75 body and 750mlmcarbon.

For reference, I run 2000ml of Zeo and 1000ml of carbon/GFO on my 200-gallon system on two Nyos Torq reactors.

I noticed when I put both in the 2.0 gfo on the bottom and carbon on top the gfo clogged the screen in the middle and the gfo doesn’t tumble

1000ml of each is probably too much, but short of getting a smaller body there's not really any good way of limiting it since the G2 bodies don't come with any sponges.

I always run carbon on the bottom as it's less likely to clog the screen. On a 0.75 or 1.0 body you can either mix the carbon and GFO together, use the separator or just add the carbon on the bottom and GFO on top.
