NYOS Torq Thoughts?

Not sure about the Torq. BRS dual reactors are very reasonable even with the pump added. Not bad looking either. Easy to swap out one section. I use for carbon and gfo. Awesome to change one without changing both.

I bought the BRStv dual reactor but it took up too much space in my limited sump area in my Red Sea reefer 300. So I exchanged it dry for a Nyos Torq. Nice and roomy and seems like it will be easy to remove and clean etc. One thing ive been reading about is that the lids pop off when removing the unit from the base and the media will fly into the DT. Will keep an update after my tank finishing its cycle and im ready to begin usage.

How is it working so far?

How is it working so far?
Well I was really excited about the ease of use and the lack of space it takes up but it turns out that the only thing that bothers me most about it is that I have to use two hands any time in removing the chamber. It doesn't turn as easy as they show it to in all of the videos online. So far so good other than that. I like it a lot. The water fall effect isn't loud at all after a few days of first turning it on. It goes through a little cycle of being more and more quieter.
