Curious as to how you guys are utilizing your Torq's? I'm thinking of using ROWAphos along with BRS Rox Carbon in it, but I'm not sure whether I should put the carbon on the bottom or top and what flow I should have the reactor set to. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

Be very careful so that the lids do not come off and dump the media into the sump. Maybe best to have floss on both sides of the reactor.

I’ve heard that has happened to some people but I’ve been using this tractor for a couple of months now with no issue. I can barely get the lids off, so there’s no way that little pump is going to do it. lol

Maybe they changed their design?

Im so excited to start using mine after my cycle is complete. But now im a little tiny bit concerned about some of the issues ive been reading about. The lids popping off and carbon etc flying into the tank. One guy said he placed the carbon in a bag then into the torq to prevent it from coming out. I think I recall the gfo on the top chamber and the carbon on the bottom chamber for the dual reactor. Which did you decide on going with ?

the bottom kept getting stuck the dock, crap design
I haven't even started using mine but just in cleaning my sump area yesterday had to use two hands to take it apart just to move it out of my way. I hope it at least does the job well if I use filter bags to put the media's in. Hows your experience with it working beside the stick of the chamber removal?
