I've never seen any of my fish poop. Am trying to get him/them to take food soaked in the "Metro Cocktail", just in case, no one's taken it yet . He's acting totally normal.

It could be a gas bubble in his swim bladder, or possibly even an internal infection or growth of some kind...

Algae blennies don't have a swim bladder, so I don't think it's that.
