How long do I have to observe the. New fish after treated them with CP or copper and Prazipro. Is 30 days enough or do I have to go 6-8 weeks to be absolutely sure? I am asking this becasue I am going on vacation and only have 4 weeks to observe the fish after treatment.

I recommend 2 weeks after treatment. But that is with the 100% guarantee that all ich including from gills have been killed/rid off. That recommendation is for somebody who knows what they're doing. Otherwise for new hobbyist 3 to 4 weeks after treatment is over.

I did treat the fish 30 days then move to a clean tank for observation

Thanks. I was considering black molly test in the observation tank. It is perhaps unnecessary.

I've been doing 14 days after cooper treatment with no traces of copper in the tank.
